For a valued client I'm currently looking for a Machine Learning Researcher.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing, and building proofs of concept in the field of machine learning and large-scale text data processing with a focus on finance. You will work on generating data for asset managers for systematic investing while ensuring that the solutions developed are controlled for quality in production.
Your profile
The ideal candidate for this role will be a competent data scientist with experience in machine learning models and the ability to derive insights from real-world data. Experience working in a cloud-based environment will be an added advantage.
Requirements
You must have previously demonstrated the ability to quickly gain an understanding of a new domain or have finance data domain experience (structured and unstructured related to companies and securities). You should also be interested in new developments in the ML/NLP space, have a curious, investigative, and explorative mindset, and be a team player with excellent communication skills. A positive mindset, result-driven, and supportive attitude are also important.
Skills (Proficient)
Python, machine learning, and strong data analysis skills.
